Capsule wardrobe: a minimal, select collection of clothing items that are worn repeatedly; a minimalistic approach to dressing

Fast fashion: describes the quick process of fashion when trends go from the runway directly to retailers (usually at cheaper, more affordable price points)

High street: brands and stores that cater toward the middle class consumer
(In the UK think Primark, in the US think H&M)

Slow fashion: describes a new way of thinking in which shopping involves buying long-lasting, sustainable pieces to build up your wardrobe in the hopes of reducing consumption; valuing quality over quantity

Style icon: a person who is known for their style; someone whose style has been documented in photographs, serves as a style muse
